Clayton County Register, Thur., 28 July 1932.

At McGregor an unidentified man, about 40 years of age was killed Sunday evening when he was struck by a train as he was crossing the track. The dead man is described as being dark complexioned, medium height and dressed in overalls. Nothing was found on his person to give a clue as to his identity and the body is being held in McGregor pending investigation.

Notes: The body was identified as 54 y/o Frank Kennaly. His death certificate (familysearch.org) gives the following:
Name Frank Kennealy
Residence - None
Occupation - Formerly Teamster
Died at McGregor Hospital 7/24/1932
Cause of death - Loss of left leg, ran over by train. Contributory cause - Shock
Informant - Clyde Allbee, Leon, Iowa
Burial - Catholic cem, McGregor [St. Mary's Catholic]
