Vera Behrend, two year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Behrend of Guttenberg, died at the home of her parents Saturday evening. She had been in poor health for some time previous to her death. Her untimely death is deeply mourned by her parents, three sisters, two brothers, her grandmother, Mrs. J. H. Horsch, of Guttenberg, and numerous other relatives. Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. M. J. Harder of Garnavillo, at the Behrend home in Guttenberg on Tuesday afternoon, with interment in the city cemetery. The family has the sympathy of all in this community.
