Funeral services were held for Charles E. Moser, 84, Osterdock, on Friday, March 26, 1982, at the Tuecke Allyn Funeral Home, Guttenberg, with burial at Bethel Cemetery, Osterdock. Rev. Ron Blix officiated. Pallbearers were LeRoy Hansel, Bill Moser, Joe Moser, Roger Moser, Alan Moser and Rick Moser.

He was born May 6, 1897, the son of Henry and Caroline Friedlein Moser. He married Margie P. Tomkins, February 16, 1916, and they farmed. Death occurred Tuesday morning, March 23, at the Great River Care Center, McGregor.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Burdett (Florence) Froelich, Osterdock, and Mrs. Charles (Margaret) Baer, Pollock Pine, Calif., three sons, Glendor of Guttenberg, Stanley of Elgin, and Charles of Postville; twelve grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death was his wife, Margie, in 1963.
