Elkader Register, Thur., 30 May 1901. Mederville column.

Mrs. Minnie Bolinger, died May 23rd, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Aug. Wilburg, after a lingering illness of eight years, the last two being confined to her bed almost continually.

Minnie Christophy was born in Germany, Mch. 7, 1830, and removed to Mederville, Clayton County, October, 1884, rdsiding here until her death. She is survived by her husband and two children, Mrs. Aug. Wilberg and Ferdinand Nightingale. She was a patient sufferer and bore her affliction with a patience that no pen can describe.

The remains were laid to rest in the Mederville cemetery, services being conducted by Rev. Fitchel, of Elkport.

(Note: Surname Wilberg/Wilburg was spelled both ways in the article.)
