Elkader Register, Thur., 25 April 1901. Garnavillo News column.

Last week Thursday, at this place, occurred the burial of the four year old son of Christ Oelke and wife of Farmersburg. Rev. Braun officiated. Sympathy to the sorrowing friends.

(Note: 1900 Census return of Windsor Town, Clayton Co., shows Victor Oelke, aged 3 years, a son of Chris and Emma Oelke.)
