Leslie John Kenney, 52, was born July 31, 1906, in Oelwein, the son of John and Marguerite (Fettkether) Kenney. On August 30, 1939, he was married to Blanche McCue at Oelwein and they resided there until seven years ago, when they bought a farm northeast of Strawberry Point. Mr. Kenney was a member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen and a boy's 4-H leader.
