Funeral services for Mrs. Caroline Schrampfer, 88, were held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Elkader. The Rev. C. Milbrath officiated. Burial was in East Side cemetery.

Mrs. Schrampfer died Sunday, March 29, at the McGregor hospital.

A daughter of John and Dorothy Lindenbaur, she was born in Highland township on May 14, 1870.

She was married to George Schrampfer, who preceded her in death in 1945.

Besides Elkader, Mrs. Schrampfer had lived at Elgin and at DeSoto, Missouri.

Surviving are two sons, John and George, both of Elkader.

Pallbearers were: Walter and Henry Asmus, Robert, Floyd and Clifford Leuchtenmacher and Leighton Bente.
