Haught, Sarah Ann died 1888

Died - December 14th, at Clayton county poor farm, Miss Sarah Ann Haught, of consumption, age 50 years. She was formerly a resident of Mallory township, but for the last eighteen months had been a resident at the county poor farm.

Note: Enumerated with 80 y/o Margret Haught on the 1885 Iowa State census, Mallory twp., Sarah A. was 47 y/o and born in PA. The Clayton co. Death Records show burial was in the Poor Farm cemetery, but her name appears on Brown cemetery records as being buried there with many other Haught family members, including her mother Margaret who died in 1886.
