Charles Henry Munger, 73, 418 South Fourth Street, Delavan, Wis., died Monday, June 22, while at work. He was employed by the Delavan park commission.
Mr. Munger was born Jan. 24, 1880, at Elkader, Iowa, son of George and August Bandow Munger. He was married to Alma Eggimann May 24, 1904, at Elkader. He was a retired farmer, having farmed in the Delavan-Elkhorn area. He moved to Delavan six years ago.
Mr. Munger leaves his wife, five sons, Clarence and Donald, Delavan; Harold, Sharon; Glenn, Elkhorn; Orville, Janesville; four daughters, Mrs. Viva Iseli, Janesville; Mrs. Inez Bothe, Elkhorn; Gladys at home; Mrs. Joyce Davis, Elkhorn; sixteen grandchildren; and two brothers, Don Munger, Elkader, and Dale Munger, Manchester, Iowa.
Services were at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, at the O'Brien and Betzer Funeral Home. The Rev. Bernard Kassilke officiated. Burial was in the Spring Grove cemetery.
