SCUDDER, SENDDER

Thomas Sendder, an old settler, of Garnavillo, died very suddenly on Monday morning, the funeral occurred on Tuesday.

Elkader Register: April 4, 1878

Note: buried in the old Garnavillo cemetery, where surname is spelled Scudder on his gravestone. He & family are enumerated on the 1850 census with surname spelled Sendder.
