Elkader Register, Thur., 28 Mar. 1878. From a Strawberry Point correspondent.

DIED - In Cass township, about five miles west of this place, on Thursday evening the 21st instant, Henrietta Cole, wife of B. S. Cole, aged 38 years, 3 months and one day.

The deceased, with her husband, came to this township in the spring of 1861, where they have resided until now. She was afflicted with a complication of diseases, and endured her afflictions with fortitude. She leaves besides a husband, a son and adopted daughter, to mourn her death. She was an amiable and affectionate wife, a kind mother, and was highly respected by all her neighbors. Her friends have the sympathies of the entire community in their loss. The funeral was held at the family residence five miles west of this place, on Saturday morning; Rev. Mr. Hicks, a Universalist, officiating. There was a large concourse of people in attendance. - Herald's Strawberry Point correspondent.
