Elkader Register, Thur., 31 Jan. 1878.

Edward Peters, an old resident of Farmersburg township, died at National on Saturday last. His first wife was a sister of Silas and Alson Woodward. He was very highly esteemed as a citizen and neighbor, and his death, though not unexpected, was a calamity deeply regretted.
