Kelleher, Mary Direen died 1878

Elkader Register, Thur., 24 Jan. 1878.

Mrs. Thomas Kelleher, of this village, died on the 19th. She was an estimable lady, dearly beloved by all who knew her. In the last hours she was attended by Rev. Quigley and the rites of the church conferred. The funeral occurred on the 21st. Services at the Catholic church, Rev. Quigley officiating. The services were impressive, and the tribute paid the deceased was indeed worthily bestowed.

(Note: An apparent reference to Mary Direen Kelleher shown in WPA records.)
