Elkader Register, Thur., 17 Jan. 1878.

Mrs. James Hill, a former resident of this place, died at her daughter's residence, Mrs. Thomas Fisher, in Lodomillo township, near Edgewood, on Sunday last. The funeral took place on Tuesday, her remains being brought to this place for interment.

I believe this obit is for Sarah nee Reynolds, 2nd w/o James Hill. Her 1st husband was Lodi Jones. Lodi & Sarah had at least 2 children: a daughter Margaret, who married Thomas Fisher, they lived in Lodomillo twp. near Edgewood; and a son Louis Jones, in McGregor.
