Elkader Register, Thur., 20 Oct. 1921.

The death of Mrs. Mary Dorothea Huebsch aged 75 years occurred last Wednesday. Funeral services occurred at the St. Sebald Lutheran church last Friday afternoon conducted by the pastor, Rev. Knappe, and burial took place in the adjoining cemetery. Mr. Huebsch preceded his wife in death eight years ago. The children who are left to mourn the loss of a kind mother are: John H. Huebsch, Carl Huebsch, and Miss Mary Huebsch of this place; Will Huebsch of Dubuque; and Michael Huebsch of Monticello. Among the relatives and friends from out of town who attended the funeral were: Miss Ida Huebsch, Oscar Huebsch, Mr. and Mrs. W. Huebsch, and Mr. and Mrs. Wagner, all of Dubuque; John F. Huebsch of Ames; Rev. and Mrs. John Burkhardt of Jessup; Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Eckhart, H. Meisgier and Mr. and Mrs. L. Meisgier of Arlington; and Mr. and Mrs. Martin of West Union.
