Strawberry Point: Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Wilder were held at the Methodist church Friday afternoon conducted by the Rev. Thomas Elwick of Elberon. Interment was made in the family lot in the local cemetery. Mrs. Wilder, nee Sarah Cook, was born April 9, 1845, at Longhollow, Ill. She was united in marriage to Anson Wilder at Strawberry Point Dec. 10, 1865, and has always lived here. They were privileged to celebrate their golden wedding with a large celebration and Mrs. Wilder passed away on her seventieth wedding anniversary. Mr. Wilder preceded her in death April 3, 1920. Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Wilder, who lovingly and tenderly cared for her.
