Funeral services for Fred Geske were held from the home of his brother, Henry Geske, Tuesday afternoon, Rev. J. F. Parsons officiating. Burial was made in Pleasant Grove cemetery. Mr. Geske was born in Taylor Falls, Minn., October 10, 1859. He lived in McGregor for many years, then moved to St. Paul. He returned to McGregor about 10 years ago, and on account of failing health has been in the hospital here for the past five years. He suffered a stroke Sunday morning and died that evening at the age of 75 years. He is survived by his five brothers, Will of St. Paul, August of Chaska, Minn., Albert of Minneapolis, and Henry and M. X. Geske of McGregor; also five sisters, Mrs. G. W. Ertz of St. Paul, Mrs. Geo. Heltron of Tracy, Minn., Mrs. Carl Mehlhop of Dubuque, Mrs. Charles Gerndt and Mrs. Kate Huebsch of McGregor.
