Funeral services for Frank P. Brechler, 44, were held at St. Mary's Catholic church Saturday morning. Mr. Brechler died from injuries received from a fall while working at the Schroeder stone quarry at Marquette.
Mr. Brechler was born in Marquette May 13, 1891, son of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Brechler. He had been in the employ of the Milwaukee Railroad since he was 16 years old, serving as locomotive fireman and engineman. He was an active member of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Enginemen and Firemen. He was married to Florence Sawvell of Marquette in 1913. One child died in infancy. He is survived by his widow, four sisters, Mrs. Carl Hendrickson and Miss Lydia Brechler, of McGregor, Mrs. Earl Sawvell, of Marquette, and Mrs. Orin Brooks of Peoria, Ill; and four brothers, Louis, William, George and John, all of Marquette.
