McGregor: The funeral of Mrs. P. H. O'Brien of Sioux Falls, S.D., was held at St. Mary's Catholic church Saturday morning. Mrs. O'Brien was a resident of McGregor for many years before moving to Sioux Falls. Mr. O'Brien owned a grocery store in Marquette.

Funeral services for Mrs. P. H. O'Brien, former McGregorite, living in Sioux Falls, S. Dak., were held from St. Mary's Catholic church Saturday morning, burial being made in the Catholic cemetery. Mrs. Catherine O'Brien was born at Troy, N.Y., March 22, 1853, and died April 23, 1935, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. R. J. Kensella, of Sioux Falls. She came to McGregor with her parents when a small child. She was married to P. H. O'Brien February 19, 1871, and continued to live in McGregor until 1913, when the family moved to Sioux Falls. Eleven children were born to them, five having preceded their parents in death. She is survived by three sons, John of Salt Lake City, Utah; Jim of Tacoma, Wash., and Charles of Naperville, Ill., and three daughters, Nell, Kathryn and Irene, of Sioux Falls; also six grandchildren.
