Miss Martha Klotzbach, aged 82 years, died at her home at Giard Saturday. She was born in Vermillion, Ohio, February 12, 1853, and came in a covered wagon to Iowa in 1854 with her parents. Her father and mother died in 1905 and 1907, respectively, and one sister and one brother also preceded her in death.

She lived with her brother and sister in the Klotzbach home at Giard for sixty-four years. Three brothers and three sisters survive her, namely, William Klotzbach, Edward Klotzbach, and Henry J. Klotzbach, all at or near Giard, and Miss Elizabeth Klotzbach, at home, Mrs. Frank C. Butts of Farmersburg, and Julia, Mrs. L. A. Hefner, of Bainville, Montana.

Funeral services were held Tuesday from the home, with burial in the Giard cemetery, the Rev. Warren E. Feller officiated.
