Elkader Register, Thur., 18 Dec. 1924. North Buena Vista column.

Miss Ruth Balon entered into rest on Friday, Dec. 12th, 1924, at 8 o'clock p.m. at her grandfather John Kuykendalls' home at the age of two years. She is survived by her parents, three brothers and two sisters. Funeral was held at 1:30 Sunday. Rev. J. A. Holthaus delivered the sermon. The casket was borne by Sylvia Schmidt, Margaret Dean, Lorine Dix and Genevia Wachendorf.

A Card of Thanks was signed Gust Balon, And Family, and Grandpa John Kuykendall.
