Thurs., 20 Jan. 1916 issue, Register and Argus (Elkader, IA), Elkport and Vicinity section, page 3, column 1:

OBITUARY

Mrs. Rosa Dietrich died Saturday, January 15th, at 1:30 a. m. at the home of the Aged, at Dubuque, and was buried at Dubuque on Monday, January 17th. Deceased was born at Augsburg, Germany, on August 1st, 1842, and came to this country in 1870 with her husband, who preceded her in death. She has made her home at the St. Francis Home of the Aged for the last four years. Mrs. Dietrich was a very good and industrious woman and leaves many friends to mourn her death.
