The infant daughter of Joe Meehan and wife, nee Alma Luers, was brought here Tuesday, the 24th, from Dubuque for burial. Father Raedler conducted the services. Rosa Broderick, Marie Degnan and Anna Broderick, of Clayton, and Elsa Walleser, of Garnavillo, acted as pall bearers. The little one brightened the home only three days previous to its death. No one but a parent can feel the real worth of the life so soon ended. May their sad hearts seek consolation from Him who blessed them with the precious gift.

Marion Jeanette, the five-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jos. Meehan, of Dubuque, died Saturday and was buried in the Catholic cemetery at Garnavillo, Monday.

(Note: Researchers will need to determine if the infant and the 5 year old, as reported, are really two individuals or one and the same individual and the articles erred as to ages, etc.)
