Mrs. Edward Shae died at her home in Highland Twp., on Thursday September 4th, 1890, after a prolonged illness. The funeral was held in the Catholic church at Cox Creek, Saturday last, and was attended by many friend from this vicinity. Rev. Father Rowe, of Strawberry Point, conducted and services.

The funeral of Mrs. Shea was held at Sacred Heart church, last Saturday morning and was very largely attended. She was an estimable lady, and all mourn her death.
