DIED - In Clayton, Jan. 21st, 1884, Mrs. Wm. Buhlman, aged 36 years, 7 months and one day.
The death of this estemable lady was sudden and unexpected. Confined at child birth at 3 p.m. at 0 o'clock wrapped in the cold embrace of death.
Her maiden name was Maggie Smasal, born in Austria June 20th, 1847, and married to Wm. Bulhman (sic) Oct. 18, 1870.
Five children have blessed this union and the sixth on the moment of the mother's departure to the better land. Indeed the hand of death layeth on when and where the least expected, a visitor that cometh at the end of day, or in the twilight hour, and breaketh asunder the silken cord of life, bringing upon love ones the deepest sorrow and seemingly unbearable affliction. May the husband ad children bear their sorrow with a faith in the will of Him who rules supreme.
