The death of Mrs. Lund Lovejoy has cast a gloom over our entire community where she has resided for so many years and was so highly respected. The funeral services were held here last Sunday with a large attendance of relatives and friends. She was the mother of Alpheus Tenny, Esq., and of Mrs. Salem Morse, of Volga City; also of Mrs. Berkey and Mrs. Bishop, of West Union, who were present at the funeral ceremonies.

Note: Naomi Lovejoy, 1812-11/16/1883, is buried with her husband Lund in the Hillcrest cemetery.
