Eric Ericson, a son of Peter Ericson, of Marion township, was buried on Tuesday. His death occurred in Dakota last week, and was a peculiarly sad one. He went to that territory last spring and took up a claim, and while he and a friend were digging a well on the place, he was overcome by choke damp, and died before he could be hauled out.
