Elkader- Mrs. Gertrude Sackett, 79, of Elkader, died at the Good Samaritan Hospital in West Union Friday. She had been a patient for six years.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the United Brethren Church in Wadena, Ia., with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call until 11 a.m. Monday at the Witt Funeral Home in Elkader.

Her husband died Dec. 18. They had operated several grocery stores in Clayton County.

Surviving are two brothers, William Moore, Wadena, Ia., and Myron Moore, Elgin, Ia.; and one sister, Mrs. Robert Frey, West Union, Ia.
