Death has again removed one of the old landmarks of Mallory township, the victim being John Hansel, whose death occurred on the 16th inst., at the extreme age of 95 years. The funeral occurred on the 18th, the obsequies being conducted by Rev. Joel Beatty and attended by a vast concourse of friends and relatives. Deceased was a native of Virginia, has been a resident of this township for 32 years. He leaves an aged widow and eight children, the latter heads of families.
