Elkader Register, Thur., 10 Dec. 1903. Local News column.

From Der Herold we learn of the death of Mrs. Fredericka Weiland at her home in St. Paul on Nov. 21st. Mrs. Weiland's maiden name was Trubiger. She came to America with her parents in 1860 and was married to Fred Weiland in Elkader. In the early 80's the family moved to St. Paul. Mr. Weiland is dead and five children, three sons and two daughters are left to mourn the death of their mother. Mrs. Weiland will be remembered by the older residents of our town.
