Mrs. Troutfetter died Monday after many weeks of suffering from heart trouble. She was about sixty years old and leaves to mourn her loss her husband and a son and daughter at home, and a daughter, Mrs. Jud Miles, at Mt. Carroll, Ill. Her mother, Mrs. Von Berg, also survives her. Mrs. Troutfetter was a woman of the highest Christian virtues and has many friends who will miss her. The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon at the late residence, her pastor, Rev. G. A. Francis, officiating.

Note: The 1900 U.S. census, Mendon twp. enumerates Anna D. Troutfetter (b. Dec. 1847), wife of William J. Troutfetter (b. Sep 1842). Also in the household are Emma Von Berg, (mother-in-law, age 75 or 78); Chas. Troutfetter (son, age 31) & Esther M. (daughter, age 16)
