Elkader Register, Thur., 16 Apr. 1903. Jefferson column.

On Thursday evening occurred the death of Mrs. John Hart at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Jackson Bolsinger. Interment took place Saturday at the Friedlein cemetery.

It seems we were mistaken as to the age of Grandma Hart, a notice of whose death appeared in our letter last week. We have it from good authority that she was 93 years of age, instead of 89, as stated previously. Hence we make the correction. She was, doubtless, the oldest person in the community.

Note: her gravestone has dates 1814-1904 although both death notices appeared in April 1903 newspapers.
