Benjamin Adams died at his home in Farmersburg township, Thursday, March 19th. He was born in Brook county West Virginia, Aug. 15th, 1824, and united in marriage to Nancy White Oct 10th, 1847. They came to Farmersburg township in the spring of 1856 and have ever since lived there, taking an active part in the growth of the country from pioneer times. Mr. Adams had been an invalid for several years, his last sickness being about three weeks duration, death resulting from paralysis. He is survived by his wife and four sons, W. Q. and James T., of Farmersburg, E. W., of Milwaukee, and Frank M. of National. The funeral was conducted from the M.E. church at Farmersburg on Saturday, Rev. W. H. Brown, of Monona, officiating, and was largely attended by friends of the family in testimony of the respect in which deceased was held.
