Elkader Register, Thur., 3 Apr. 1890.

Died- Chris Hagensick, son of farmer John Hagensick, of this township, died of Thursday last, after a long sickness. Deceased was about 18 years of age, and had been a helpless cripple for the past twelve years, having lost all use of his hands and feet from an attack of fever. The funeral took place on Saturday last, Rev. F. W. Seifert, officiating. There was a large attendance of sympathizing relatives and friends.
