Died- Of consumption, Wednesday, February 26th, 1890, Mary Menge, wife of August Menge, aged 22 years. One of the saddest duties that devolves upon a local scribe is to chronicle the death of a wife and mother, who had just entered upon the sea of happiness. Mrs. Menge is the daughter of Jos. Putz of this township, and was married to August Menge three years ago. She leaves a husband and one child to mourn the loss of a kind and affectionate wife and mother. The funeral took place Friday and was largely attended. Mr. Menge and the bereaved family have the sympathy of all in their sad affliction.
