John C. Oleson, living about 6 miles east of town died Friday night, January 31, 1890, he and his son had been in the woods and Mr. Oleson started for neighbor’s and the son for home. The father did not return and nothing serious being feared, no search was made until morning, when he was found but a little distance from where the boy left him, dead.

He was about 45 years old, and a man liked by all who knew him. The funeral was held yesterday.
