It is with extreme sorrow that we record the death of Miss Rose Beckler of Guttenberg. The young lady had won for herself a host of friends and admirers in this town, who followed her bright career as a teacher with pride. The profession has lost in Miss Rose on of it most promising members. Our sympathies are with the afflicted family.

DOD: January 31, 1890
Buried: Guttenberg City Cemetery
Mother: Margaret died in 1893
