Clayton, Ia.- James Wesley Spiker, 65, of Clayton died at 8 a.m. Tuesday in Guttenberg (Ia.) Municipal Hospital.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Tuecke-Allenstein Funeral Home at Garnavillo, Ia., where friends may call after 11 a.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in the Clayton Cemetery.
Surviving are his wife, Dorothy; four sons, James Jr., Lavern, David, and Wesley, all at home; two daughters, Mrs. Larry (Janice) Krugger of McGregor, Ia., and Beverly, at home; one granddaughter; three brothers, Albert of Argyle, Ia., and Ross and Walter, both of Nebraska, and five sisters, Edna Spiker of Clayton, Mrs. James (Maud) Lewis of Alexandria, Mo., Mrs. Elmer (Florence) Dray of Keokuk, Ia., and Mrs. Douglas (Margaret) Rankin and Mrs. Fred (Vernie) Frieden, both of Kahoka, Mo.
