Adam Keen, one of the early settlers of this county, died at his residence in Clayton, on Saturday, aged about 63 years. Mr. Keen was, in early years, a resident of Elkader, and ran a foundry here. Of late years he has been engaged in running the ferry, "Kate Keen." He leaves a wife and three grown children, together with numerous friends to mourn his loss. "After life's fitful fever he sleeps well."
