Died- Little May, a ten year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Smith, died last night at about 11 o'clock, of malignant diphtheria. This is a hard blow to Mr. and Mrs. Smith, for she was the darling and pride of the family, and to have her thus taken from them is a hard blow. They will have the heartfelt sympathy of all. The funeral will occur to-morrow (Saturday) at 11 o'clock, in the Elkader Cemetery.
