Guttenberg- Eugene C. "Red" Troester, 71, of Guttenberg, died Tuesday, June 15, 2004, in University Hospitals, Iowa City, after a short illness. Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday, St. Paul's Lutheran Church, by the Rev. Harold McMillin. Burial: Guttenberg City Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Guttenberg.

Survivors include his wife, Mary; two daughters, Debbie Troester of St. Olaf and Virginia Shefelbine of Garnavillo; and two sons, Alan of Guttenberg and Calvin of Strawberry Point.
