Dubuque Telegraph Herald, Tue., 3 Jan. 1961.

Garnavillo- Mrs. Ben Berns, 71, died at the LaCrosse, Wis., hospital Sunday.

Services will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church here with burial in the church cemetery.

Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Tuecke Funeral Home in Garnavillo.

Surviving are her husband; one son, Lorraine, McGregor, Ia.; two daughters, Margaret, Dubuque; and Mrs. Mark DeSotel, Luxemburg, Ia.; two sisters, Mrs. Adelia Beck, Elkader; and Mrs. Calesta Auer, Garnavillo; and seven grandchildren.
