St. Olaf- Funeral services for Mrs. Hans Hanson, 77, were held here Thursday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the home to the Norway Lutheran Church at 2 o'clock with the Rev. S. J. Strandjord, pastor, officiating. Burial was in the Lutheran cemetery.
Mrs. Hanson died Tuesday at her home following a short illness.
She was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Tolleck Eulberg and was born on a farm in Clayton County. She was married in 1905 to Mr. Hanson and they farmed near Elkader and Elgin. In March they retired and moved to St. Olaf.
Surviving are her husband and one brother.

St. Olaf - Mrs. Hans Hanson died at the home of her brother, Gilbert Ulberg, in St. Olaf, Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 24. She had been in failing health for several years, but her last illness was only for a week. She died at the age of 77 years, 7 months and 17 days.
Kari Ulberg Hanson, the daughter of the late Tollef Tollefson Ulberg and Berget Gisledatter, was born May 7, 1863 in Wagner township, Clayton county. She grew to womanhood in this community. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith and was a life-long member of the Norway Lutheran church.
In 1905 she was married to Hans Hanson. For a short while they lived on the Ulberg farm in Wagner township, and then bought the Andrew Larson farm near Elkader and resided there for fifteen years. They then lived in Elkader for a few years, after which they bought a farm near Elgin, where they resided until April of this year, when they came to St. Olaf to make their home with her brother, Gilbert, and with whom they lived until her death.
Funeral services for Mrs. Hanson were held Thursday afternoon, Sept. 26 at the home and at the Norway Lutheran church, the Rev. S.J. Strandjord, pastor, officiating. The Norway Lutheran church choir sang at the services at the church. Burial was made in the Norway Lutheran cemetery. The pallbearers were Andrew O. Wold, Henry P. Larson, Knute K. Stearns, Albert Clausen, Frank Engelhardt and Herbert Thompson.
Her death is mourned by her husband and one brother, Gilbert, and by two nieces and one nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Gisle, Peter and Tollef, and two sisters, Alice and Mrs. Julius Peterson.
