Clayton County Register, 18 Aug. 1937.
Ben Glesne, 48, hanged himself in the granary on the Tom Herbranson farm in Wagner township yesterday morning. The suspended body was found by Mr. Herbranson.
No reason could be found for the rash act but that he had contemplated the deed was evident from a note to his wife which he had left. The note contained only two words, "Good-bye Inga."
He is survived by his wife. Though Coroner Leslie Oelke was called to the scene no inquest was held.
