Ben Glesne, son of Mr. and Mrs. Even Glesne, was born December 1, 1889, on a farm near St. Olaf, where he lived with two sisters and a brother until he was 34 years of age.

December 6, 1922, he was married to Ina Knudtson at Portland, Ore. After their marriage they moved to a farm about 2 1/2 miles west of St. Olaf, which is known as the old Ole Wald farm. He leaves to mourn his loss, his father, one brother, Oscar; two sisters, Mrs. Theo. Thorson and Elvira, all of this vicinity; also many uncles, aunts and cousins, along with a host of friends. His mother preceded him in death in 1930.

Services were held Friday, August 20 by the Rev. S. J. Strandjord, from the home at Farmersburg at 1:15, at Norway church at 2 o'clock, with burial in the family lot at the Norway cemetery.
