St. Olaf- Nathan William Meyer, 18, died Tuesday night, Oct. 26, 1999, in an auto accident five miles east of Monona. Memorial services: 2 p.m. today, St. John Lutheran Church, Farmersburg, by the Rev. Bruce Hanson. Burial: Rossville Cemetery, Rossville. There will be no visitation. Arrangements are with Leonard Funeral Home, Elkader.

Survivors include his parents, Robert and Judy; a sister, Valerie, and a brother, Adam, all of St. Olaf; a half sister, Peggy Davis of Elkader; and two half brothers, Dennis of Mason City and Dean of Decorah.

Note: Nathan was one of five Clayton County teens who lost their lives in a car vs. grain trailer motor vehicle accident, an account of which can be seen on the obituaries of either Travis Lee Rubendall or Hallie Scarff on this obituary board.
