Elkader- Clyde Dwight Smith, 85, died Monday, May 23, 1994, in his home after a sudden illness. Services: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Peace United Church of Christ, by Rev. Lance A. Bentley. Burial: Farmersburg-Wagner Cemetery, rural Farmersburg. Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at Leonard-Witt Funeral Home, Elkader, and after 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church.

Survivors include a daughter, Marjorie Rock of Jesup; and a sister, L'Dean Dinan of Elkader.
