Guttenberg- Shirley A. Hamann, 72, died Friday morning, Dec. 15, 1995, in her winter home in Mesa, Ariz., after a brief illness. Memorial services: 11 a.m. Friday, Tuecke-Allyn Funeral Home, Garnavillo, where friends may call after 10 a.m. Friday. Pastor Tom Jones will officiate. Burial: Garnavillo City Cemetery.

Survivors include her husband, Delos "Peanuts"; two daughters, Michele Barlett and friend Gary Stevenson of Rockford, Minn., and Vicki Baker and husband Rick of Cedar Rapids; three grandchildren, Cindi Baker, Patrick Egen and Vaughn Minger and wife Darla; two great-grandchildren, Justin and Victoria Minger; and a brother, William Reardon and wife Nadyne of Farmersburg.

Shirley was born July 20, 1923, in Farmersburg, to William "Mike" and Gladys Mathews Reardon. She married Delos "Peanuts" Hamann on Sept. 7, 1945, at Farmersburg Lutheran Church.
