Dubuque Telegraph Herald, 7 June 1946.

Monona- Funeral services for Henry Gilster, 77, were held from the Schultz funeral home to the Pilgrim Evangelical church here Friday afternoon. The Rev. Alvin Ebert officiated, and burial was at Farmersburg.

Mr. Gilster died Tuesday in a La Crosse, Wis., hospital, where he had been a patient for two weeks.
