Farmersburg- Final rites for Edward Johnson, 75, were at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the public hall here. The pastor of the Methodist church officiated. Masonic services were conducted. Burial was in the Farmersburg and Wagner Cemetery.

Johnson died Monday at Cedar Rapids. He was in the hardware business here for 33 years, retiring three years ago. He had been a member of the Masonic lodge since 1906. For nine years he acted as a member of the board of education.

Surviving are his wife, Catherine; a son, Everett, of Cedar Rapids, and a sister, Mrs. Ella Thoreson, of St. Olaf.
