Marquette- John D. Geraghty, 69, of Marquette, died Thursday morning at his home here of an apparent heart attack.

Mr. Geraghty was a school teacher for over 20 years retiring in 1966.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in McGregor, with burial in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Monona, Ia. Friends may call at the Thornburg Funeral Home in McGregor, where the parish Rosary will be said at 8 p.m. Friday.

Surviving is a sister, Mrs. Ed (Grace) McAndrews of McGregor.
